Closets

When I mention something in relation to how small my condo is my mother tells me, "Lauren, pretend you're in New York where the women have to put their shoes in the oven."  Doesn't help.  My closet is horribly tiny.  Some closet-organization-inspiration shall make this anxiety go away.

Union Jack

I'm loving the trend of displaying the UK Flag in bedrooms, bathrooms, studies and such.  A quick side note by Wikipedia on Union Jack:

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland uses as its national flag the royal banner known as the Union Flag or, popularly, Union Jack. The current design of the Union Flag dates from the union of Ireland and Great Britain in 1801. It consists of the red cross of Saint George (patron saint of England), edged in white, superimposed on the Cross of St Patrick (patron saint of Ireland), which are superimposed on the Saltire of Saint Andrew (patron saint of Scotland).

I bought two small ottomans that I'm using as footstools with the flag on top.  I'm not really sure what to do with them quite yet as I prefer a more subtle fabric in pastels.  For now, they are turned over on the burlap side.

 I'm in desperate need of a little vacay across the pond to visit my British friends!
