It's hot here in Nashville and I know not many people are thinking of purchasing a pair of riding boots right now, but I have been trying to find these on sale for the last 3 YEARS and finally found them!  They are never on sale, I tell you.  So, last week I did my monthly google search for them and Voila!  50% off for July 4th!  And the sale is still going on.

There is not one thing that I do not love about this woman.   She is my design idol.  In case you haven't heard of her, she came to America and in 1989 reinvented the shabby chic way of decorating and to put it simply, the love for slipcovers.  I can only strive to decorate so effortlessly.   And not to mention, she dresses the same way.   I have only been to her New York store but my next mission is her Bed and Breakfast, "The Prairie" in Round Top, Texas.  Maybe on my next drive out to my favorite spot, Jackson Hole,  I can pay a visit!

Living Large...

in small spaces, is mentioned in the July/August issue of House Beautiful.   Also, a very fitting description of my new digs.  Come August, I will be moving in to a one bedroom condo.  The square footage is that of a studio apartment.  It's all about charm, right?  In order to make my new space look larger, a mirror will be a simple fix.  Here are just a few that I love, ranging from very inexpensive to pricey.
